PARTNERSHIP IN EDUCATION FOR NATIONAL DEVELOPMENT OUTCOMES (PENDO) PROGRAMME-KENYA

By harnessing partnerships, Global Goal 17 enhances development effectiveness, leveraging resources and expertise to drive impactful change through a programme called, PENDO (Partnership in Education for National Development Outcomes). "Pendo" is also a Swahili word meaning, love. We love our global children.

Through PENDO, the synergy between Global Goal 17 and Kenya embodies the spirit of collective action and shared commitment towards SDG Goals 1 (Poverty), 4 (Education), 10 (Equality) and 17 (Partnership for the Goals) for a more sustainable future by 2030. Together, and working in partnership with local schools and grassroots community groups and organisations, we navigate the complexities of development, championing progress and leaving a lasting legacy of positive change through direct scholarship support for underprivileged children's education.

Appeal for the Support of Faith's Education: £58 Monthly Needed

Introduction:
We are reaching out to seek your generous support for Faith, a 13-year-old girl from Kimase village, who is in dire need of assistance to continue her education. Faith is a grade 7 pupil, the 4th born in a family of five children, and has a twin sister who is mentally challenged. Despite facing numerous hardships, Faith aspires to become a teacher and contribute positively to her community.

Appeal for the Support of Christian's Education: £58 Monthly Needed

Christian's story is one of resilience and determination. He is an orphan being raised by his sickly grandmother, who struggles to provide for him due to her lack of stable income or employment. Despite these challenges, Christian remains a hardworking and dedicated student, eager to make the most of his education.

Introduction:

We are reaching out to seek your generous support for Prunox Kiprono, a 9-year-old boy in grade 3 who dreams of becoming a doctor. Prunox is determined to save lives and make a difference in his community through his future medical career.

Appeal for the Support of Brian's Education: £58 Monthly Needed

We are reaching out to seek your generous support for Brian, a 13-year-old boy in grade 7 who dreams of becoming a police officer. Brian has been inspired by the positive influence and protection provided by police officers throughout his life, and he is determined to join their ranks to serve his community.

Festus's Education: £58 Monthly Needed to Help Him Become a Navy Diver. The Navy was his father's job.

Why We Believe Festus Should Be Helped:
Tragic Loss- Festus's father drowned, leaving the family in a vulnerable situation.
Aspirations:
Festus dreams of becoming a Navy diver to rescue others from drowning, motivated by his personal loss.

PSHE Personal Social Health and Economics: Rev. Phillip Tallam, who mentors Clinton, believes strongly in his potential and the positive impact that a good education can have on his future.
